Glen of Imaal Terrier Rescue Information: The Glen of Imaal Terrier is a bold, scrappy, shaggy little dog. Glen of Imaal Terriers resemble Welsh Corgis. Glen of Imaal Terriers are extremely devoted and pleasant tempered. They are wonderful with children and typically do well with other dogs, although males may be prone to some aggression issues. These Terriers should not be trusted with rodent-type pets such as hamsters or rabbits. Glen of Imaal Terriers are very adaptable and do unusually well with adoption as adults. These Terriers do just fine in apartments as long as they have a daily walk.

Glen of Imaal Terrier Trivia: The Glen of Imaal Terrier comes from Wicklow, Ireland. Glen of Imaal Terriers were first seen at an Irish dog show in 1933. The Glenn of Imaal Terrier was once used to turn spits of roasting meat by running on a treadmill. Glenn of Imaal Terriers are still quite rare in the U.S. Glenn of Imaal Terriers are supposed to be able to hunt silently.
