The Glen of Imaal Terrier comes from Wicklow, Ireland. Glen of Imaal Terriers were first seen at an Irish dog show in 1933. The Glenn of Imaal Terrier was once used to turn spits of roasting meat by running on a treadmill. Glenn of Imaal Terriers are still quite rare in the U.S. Glenn of Imaal Terriers are supposed to be able to hunt silently.
