     I needed to find a new home for Pepe when he grew larger than expected and due to my health issues I was not able to walk him. My patio area is too small for Pepe to run around and play. A wonderful family contacted me about him and mom told me this would be their first dog ever. I told her she was very lucky to be getting such a wonderful dog and later that day Pepe and I made a visit to their home. Everyone fell in love! We decided he would spend the night and see how everyone did; the family was concerned about allergies and Pepe was ever the protector. I received a text message from the family saying, 'He seems to have bonded with us all. We have an appointment with a groomer as we decided to have his hair shorter. This family is also making a donation in Pepe's name. The family also wrote, 'Thanks for making this such a special time for us.' I will miss him a lot but know he is with his perfect family. Thank you, Rescue Me, you've provided a great service to the pet community!
